CCM Students participate in the annual American Culinary Federation Picnic and barbecue competition held on Pebble Beach each year.

 

 

 

Over 100 fortunate Chamber members and their guests took advantage of the beautiful weather and Monterey's World famous Culinary Center's hospitality last Thursday night and no one went away disappointed or hungry.

The shining star of the Peninsula , perhaps even the State when it comes to teaching new chefs about food and its preparation, is the Culinary Center of Monterey.

Constellation Wines U.S. recently held a team-building session at the Culinary Center of Monterey. Encompassing four wine businesses: Icon Estates, Centerra Wine Company, North Lake Wines and Pacific Wine Partners, Constellation Wines U.S. provides a common platform of services including channel management, finance, operations, human resources and legal services to the four wine businesses.

According to Shilah Salmon, International Business Coordinator, "The event at the Culinary Center of Monterey was part of a sales incentive and training program for our entire Quebec , Canada sales team.

The Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula (CHOMP) recently held two events at the CCM, one a team building and leadership development session for managers reporting to CHOMP vice president Cynthia Peck, and the second a special event for volunteers.

According to CHOMP auxiliary president, Roxanne Wilde, "Each year hospital volunteers have a statewide convention in different venues. This year it was held in Monterey .

According to Patricia Schamore, director of Brown-Forman's Brand Building University , "The program was about the importance of teachers leading and learning.

The students and instructors of The CCM spent an exciting and informative afternoon with Michel Escoffier, Great-Grandson of the world famous Auguste Escoffier.  The students prepared a wonderful lunch for their guest, then spent the afternoon hearing intriguing stories about the man they call The King of Chefs.
